CCP Composites US works with suppliers of raw materials, energy and services to help our customers minimize their environmental footprint and meet the needs of the end users of their products.
Benefits of CCP Composites US's supply chain:
+ Reduced air emissions and improved air quality
+ Reduced fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas production
+ Reduced waste disposal and need for virgin-sourced raw materials
+ Cost savings for transportation, raw materials and waste disposal

Our cooperative efforts include:
+ Participating in regional By-Product Synergy projects, as a founding member of
the U.S. Business Council for Sustainable Development. By-Product Synergy is
the matching of waste or by-product streams from one facility with potential
users at another facility. The resulting collaboration creates new revenues, cost
savings, energy conservation, reductions in the need for virgin-source materials,
and reductions in waste and pollution. + Participating as a USEPA SmartWav Transport Partner. Together with our
transport partners, CCP Composites US can provide a more streamlined and
fuel efficient freight delivery to our customers that will improve air quality, reduce
our nation's reliance on foreign oil, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our
   product life cycle.
  1. CCP Composites US, EPA and SmartWay Partners expect to collectively eliminate 30 to 60 million metric tons of CO2 emissions and up to 200,000 tons of NOx emissions by 2012. This represents a savings of nearly 150 million barrels of fuel per year.
  2. Since becoming a SmartWay Transport Partner in 2008 CCP Composites US has reduced its footprint by converting from truck freight to intermodal transportation, and from bulk tank truck freight to bulk rail transport. We continuously strive to improve our SmartWay Shipper Index Factor (SIF) score by urging out carriers to participate in the SmartWay program.
+ Creating products based on renewable or by-product raw materials, which
   are certified low-impact products.
