- CCP Composites US, EPA and SmartWay Partners expect to collectively eliminate 30 to 60 million metric tons of CO2 emissions and up to 200,000 tons of NOx emissions by 2012. This represents a savings of nearly 150 million barrels of fuel per year.
- Since becoming a SmartWay Transport Partner in 2008 CCP Composites US has reduced its footprint by converting from truck freight to intermodal transportation, and from bulk tank truck freight to bulk rail transport. We continuously strive to improve our SmartWay Shipper Index Factor (SIF) score by urging out carriers to participate in the SmartWay program.
